No, as per PTA regulation it is mandatory for your mobile number to be registered on your CNIC/SNIC. In case it is not, you may contact your telecom provider for transferring the mobile number to your CNIC.
Freelancer account is a type of account under the SBP’s digital onboarding framework. The account enables freelancers residing in Pakistan to simultaneously open Foreign Currency Account with the PKR account under the digital onboarding framework guidelines.
Exporters’ Special Foreign Currency Account(ESFCA) are accounts allowed by State Bank of Pakistan to exporters of goods and services to receive payments in foreign currency. This way accountholders do not have to convert all of their foreign exchange earnings into PKR. Opening an ESFCA means user can simultaneously have a PKR and USD account with Zindigi.

Freelancers who reside in Pakistan and provide IT or IT related services to clients abroad can open a freelancer account.
No, the freelancer account is a non-repatriable account. This means that funds in freelancer account cannot be moved outside Pakistan in a foreign bank account.
Freelancer account can be opened through the Zindigi application by going to the menu, clicking on upgrade to ultra and selecting ultra freelancer option.
Funds can be received in USD and PKR only.

Authorized dealer is a type of financial institution that has received authorization from a relevant regulatory body to act as a dealer involved in the trading of foreign currencies.
JS Bank’s Gulberg Green’s Islamabad branch is the authorized dealer related to Zindigi Freelancer account. The AD code for the branch is 912.
Users can retain up to USD 5,000 per month or 50% of their export proceeds (whichever is higher) in their ESFCA. The remaining amount will be converted in to PKR. The limit for PKR wallet can be enhanced upon customer request.
At the moment, Zindigi only offers USD account. More currencies will be added at a later stage.

No. Funds received in USD can only be transferred to your own Zindigi PKR account. The PKR funds however, can be used to make all types of transactions including money transfer, bill payments, QR payments, etc.
Cash withdrawals in foreign currency can be made outside Pakistan only as per SBP guidelines.
The funds can be received in the freelancer account within 48 hours of Zindigi receiving the money from the remitter bank.

All you need for a Zindigi Freelancer account is:

  1. An existing Zindigi account (Level 0, Level 1, or Ultra)
  2. CNIC Front and Back
  3. Live Picture
  4. SIM registered to the same CNIC as the Zindigi account

PKR balance cannot be converted into USD as per SBP guidelines.

An encashment certificate is issued by bank that has received foreign exchange from abroad on behalf of the beneficiaries. Upon every conversion initiated by a user through the Zindigi app, an encashment certificate is generated for that transaction which is essentially a transaction receipt.
Encashment certificate will be sent over user’s registered email address when a user converts their USD to PKR through the Zindigi application.
PRC ( Proceed Realization Certificate ) is the authentication/verification from the processing bank that remittance has been received and processed from an overseas arrangement.
Zindigi Freelancer Accountholders will receive a PRC at disbursement on their registered email address once their remittance has been credited into the account.Accountholders can also request for a duplicate PRC from Zindigi’s support channels.
